 Only members of the national office can vote on issues related to the national office. This is a voters resistance for socialists who may not necessarily be party members. If you are not a national member and would like to vote in the official party than join by clicking here. This website is a development of Socialist Party of Florida and independent voters and is not part of any national or state party. Our first purpose here is to be social first for voters with Florida and Floridian goals in mind.

The only thing we ask here is that members who use this free service provide their real information: name, address, phone, and face. This help us prove our case in a very public way by going above and beyond the basic required laws of the state and in being better than the two party system. By providing the information it saves money that would otherwise have to be spent purchasing the data from the Supervisor of Election's office as well in Tallahassee under the sunshine laws to check against and must be renewed on a regular basis to keep current. Socialist, as the working poor, cannot afford to waste such amounts of funding like the two major parties can during elections with mass mailers and phone calls. We are not asking for more or less than what is already public knowledge for purchase.

As a voter make sure to know the laws of the state, especially Chapters 97-106 & 876 before doing anything like running for office or attending a protest rally.

This effort is to help make sure of our internal security. All members of Resistance Tendency must be over 18, a registered voter (either Independent or SPF), and provide a copy of their information to this website. Only those verified to have a Florida internet provider address will be allowed to stay or view certain parts of this website's source.Outside of this basic factor the Resistance Tendency works on the simple principle of openness by example.

All posting boards for extend conversation are for public viewing to earn trust among voters that we are in fact doing what is in their best interest so that they may join in our combined struggle instead of knowingly voting against their own interest for the lesser of two evils. We as socialists fully understand that is not "the way it is" or "they are going to do what they want too anyway." Socialists are not self-defeatist, but rather the self-aware. To join here is to take a very public stand, say to the powers that be, "No more!"

This website, Resistance Tendency is not associated with any national corporatist top down structure. Members here are more than welcome to use the grass roots pluralistic method of bringing yourself or organization to our round table.

Confusion

Many socialists have no idea they are socialist. Let us explore why here at in our many pages for free. The resistance tendency does not strive to be an institution; but rather, the key which unlocks institutions for the people.

For many years these mostly conservative strongholds have been too slow to react, have at times become inefficient, holds back technology for things like education and transportation. Where these institutions fail to meet the test imposed on them by the people, democratic theory of the radical function holds that they ought to be changed.

Diversity

 Florida is a massive state with the oldest history of the United States of America. Even the name means "Many Flowers" or is directly translated from Spanish as "Flowers." Due to our size and centuries of history combined with being the number one destination for many people from around the world we are not of the same anything. To be social here is a must to go anywhere in Florida. On our pages here we will explore more options to bring our social skills to good use for our diversity.

Pluralism

 To be plural is to invite many to be as one.This is the next step beyond diversity as it incorporates faith, language, culture, skills, knowledge, etc. It is by far the great leap for trust in working from a secondary style grouping to a primary working unit in your neighborhood.

Society & Social System (Macro)

Our society is statewide as a social organization of people who owe allegiance to our pluralism as a social system or network. We have interdependent parts that are linked together into a boundary-maintaining whole. We must make our diversity and pluralism clear and broad, boundaries to a system in terms of membership and territory while allowing autonomous parts to remain independent as all politics are local. We learn by working together. In this we must know the feelings, wants, and needs people share as to what is appropriate or inappropriate for our growth.
